This is a nice app to have but it's so buggy and won't load half the time you need to go into it to adjust something, so you're stuck unable to do anything since you can't turn your lights on. It's a struggle to get the lights to turn off for bed. The app will show its off but the light will still be on. None of the trouble shooting tips online work the way they say it should fix the app. good in theory, not practice.

Take your time and enjoy the automations. The app is basically a wrapped web page for Home Assistant but it's extremely convenient, and well the website is very customizable and extremely powerful. I had one snag when my Zigbee dongle was on the fritz and while the app wouldn't work to turn my lights off the actual website was able to. That is one trades a certain amount of convenience for potential functionality, but well this is a mobile app, and that's literally the expected price to pay.

I'm specifically reviewing the apps (in)ability to connect to the hostname which I pay Home Assistant monthly to maintain connectivity to. As with others - from the web ui it connects fine, but connecting from the app (without which it is useless) is a slow motion train wreck that is only getting worse over time. Everything else (ironically, the free bits) works great!
